Stepping out of monotone

It breaks my heart
It makes my day
It brings me joy
It makes me sad
I learn to be grateful
I regret not being grateful enough
I love the travelling
I miss my home
I feel comfort outside my comfort zone.

I have always believed that everything happens for a reason. I may not realize it at that time, but I am grateful  at the end. When the choice of an unconventional profession seemed like a failed idea, I approached an acquaintance for advice. Her encouragement reinstated my faith, she pointed me towards an alternative method, a new direction. With almost no hesitation I decided to take it up.

Each project I take up is exciting , challenging , educative , frustrating and inspiring. But its not just the projects that make me love my new line of work. Its the whole package. The adventure of travelling, experiencing new cultures, learning about different lifestyles, cuisines that surprise my taste buds, art that makes my soul smile, learning through others more about myself.

I am so glad I went with my gut feeling, this has been the best experience. Challenging and humbling.
